Introducing: Medik8 Deluxe Samples

Typically, when you receive a skincare sample, it comes in a single-use sachet. Globally, an estimated 855 billion sachets are discarded every year*. While we want our customers to trial our skincare formulations, we are striving to lower our plastic packaging waste. That is why we have replaced our traditional sample sachets with sample tubes made with 95% post consumer recycled aluminium.

Our new deluxe sample tubes are made from 95% post-consumer recycled aluminium. They can be recycled where facilities exist (check locally). The innovative tubes feature a snap-off aluminium nozzle (no plastic involved) which can be reinserted into the tube to preserve the power of the formula within.

This is ideal as each 4ml tube holds an average of 4 applications (assuming 1ml application/use), so you can experience the product’s benefits without it drying up (which may happen with conventional tear-open sachets). The break-off nozzle also removes the need for conventional, non-recyclable foil tamper seals.

How Do I Use the New Deluxe Samples?

To open: Hold the nozzle upright and carefully snap it off.

To apply: Gently squeeze the tube and apply as directed.

To reseal: Invert the nozzle back into the tube.

Storage: Store on its side – not for travel once opened.

Recycle: Place in the sorting bin, to be recycled where facilities exist.
