Teprenone

Skin cell DNA has a string of amino acids called telomeres. Every time the skin cell replicates itself, these telomeres shorten in length. Eventually they become so short they stop working. This can cause inflammation and ageing of the skin. Teprenone, a key active in Calmwise™ Serum and in the redness solution, is able to stabilise telomeres to delay them getting shorter. It has been shown to extend a cell’s lifespan by up to a third;1 leading to a stronger natural skin barrier. This keeps water molecules locked in tight for healthy, hydrated skin and protects the complexion from external irritants which could cause inflammation.
