The product of 8 years of work, revolutionary molecule retinyl retinoate fuses together traditional retinol and the active form of vitamin A, retinoic acid. Its encapsulated form is exclusive to Medik8 formulations.
1. 8x more powerful than retinol^[1], retinyl retinoate is direct acting without having to convert into retinoic acid like other forms of vitamin A. It helps to stimulate cellular regeneration and support collagen synthesis, resulting in a visibly smoother, firmer and radiant eye area.
2. While incredibly powerful, retinyl retinoate has been proven to be extremely gentle on the skin, making it perfect for around the delicate eye area. This form of vitamin A is also photostable, meaning it does not break down in sunlight and is suitable for use in the daytime as well as evening.

Also known as vitamin P, hesperidin is used as a brightening agent as it helps to suppress melanin transport in the skin, leading to a reduction in the appearance of dark circles for more awake-looking eyes.

Caffeine
Ideal for reducing the appearance of puffiness and darkness under the eyes, caffeine is known to be a vasoconstrictor which can help to diminish the appearance of dark circles whilst visibly firming and lifting the entire eye area.
